Makeni – The Women’s Leader of the Dr. Ibrahim Bangura (DIB) Movement, Madam Ramatulai I. B. Kargbo, has convened a strategic meeting with female executives and former councillors to consolidate support for Dr. Bangura’s leadership bid.
The meeting, attended by representatives from all eight constituencies in Bombali District, focused on promoting women’s leadership and inclusion within the All People’s Congress (APC). Kargbo emphasized the movement’s commitment to placing women at the forefront of the campaign, with female leaders heading the effort nationwide.
The DIB Movement is pushing for internal party reform, encouraging women to contest for key positions at various levels. The meeting underscores the growing momentum behind Dr. Bangura’s candidacy as the APC flagbearer and presidential ticket.
