In proceedings at the Pademba Road Magistrate Court No. 1 in Freetown, Mohamed Sullaiman appeared before Magistrate Sahr Kekura on a single charge of larceny and dwelling house burglary, contrary to Section 13(1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
The charge was read, but no plea was entered.
According to the particulars of the case, on August 19, 2024, at 1 First Street, Adonkia, Sullaiman allegedly entered the dwelling house of Paul Jessie Moriba and stole $3,300, the property of the complainant.
Lawyer M. Kargbo informed the court that the complainant was absent due to an emergency. Bail was denied, and the accused has been remanded in custody.
The case has been adjourned to October 28, 2024.
