QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle company founded in 1998 and headquartered in Hong Kong, specializes in a wide range of products, including health supplements and personal care items. Operating on a direct selling model, QNET empowers independent representatives to market its products while earning commissions. In addition to its commercial activities, QNET is dedicated to corporate social responsibility through its RYTHM (Raise Yourself to Help Mankind) Foundation, focusing on various initiatives that support education, healthcare, and community development.
On January 6, 2025, QNET made a generous donation of food essentials to Variety Children and Family Services, a child protection agency in Freetown, Sierra Leone that has provided refuge to orphans since 2012. The donation includes bags of rice, gallons of oil, assorted drinks, boxes of noodles, packs of water, biscuits, and toiletries.
This timely contribution is part of QNET’s Social Impact initiatives to celebrate the festive season and support disadvantaged children and youth in Freetown. Similar acts of kindness have been replicated in Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, and other parts of Africa.
Mr. Biram Fall, QNET’s Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, stated, “For many years, QNET has been committed to positively affecting the lives of people around the world. In our own unique way, we strive to bring joy and happiness to those who need it the most, especially during festive periods like Ramadan, Christmas, and New Year celebrations. The donation to Variety Children and Family Services aligns with our philosophy—Raise Yourself to Help Mankind (RYTHM)—aimed at enriching the lives of vulnerable individuals.”
Accepting the donation on behalf of Variety Children and Family Services, resident Social Worker Mohammed David Sesay expressed deep gratitude: “We are grateful and happy that you are thinking about us and have extended a hand of support. Your donation will significantly impact the lives of these children, putting smiles on their faces. We pray that you will be empowered to do more for us and for humanity.”
Through its Corporate Social Responsibility arm, RYTHM Foundation, QNET continues to implement various socially responsible initiatives across Africa, including support for deaf and blind children, donations to educational foundations, hospitals, orphanages, and governmental institutions requiring corporate support for their advancement.
