The Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA), under the leadership of Executive Director Mr. James Baggie Bio, is actively working to remove illegal garages along Model Junction as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance road safety in Freetown.
This initiative aims to facilitate smoother traffic flow and provide designated parking spaces for motorcycle riders. The intensified measures are designed to reduce the risk of accidents and road crashes, prioritizing the safety and security of pedestrians and all road users.
Authorities have emphasized the critical importance of road safety, stating, “Road safety is a great concern of the Management of SLRSA. Strident measures are being implemented to ensure that the roads are safe for all and at all times.”
