Sierra Leone’s energy landscape received a significant boost today as the Vice President announced the successful completion of a vital offshore 3D seismic survey. This achievement is expected to pave the way for new opportunities in resource development within the country’s oil and gas sector.
The Vice President praised the promising findings of the survey, emphasizing their potential to unlock substantial opportunities and enhance Sierra Leone’s energy security while aligning with sustainable development goals. He expressed gratitude to Geo Partners, BGP, and F.A. Oil Limited for their exceptional collaboration and hard work, and commended the Petroleum Directorate for spearheading this successful initiative.
With this progress, the Vice President affirmed that Sierra Leone is well-positioned to emerge as a prime investment destination in the oil and gas industry.
