It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mentor, teacher, and cousin, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Renner of 172 Lahai Taylor Drive, Off Wilkinson Road, Freetown. A retired teacher at Emmett Primary School, Regent Road, Lumley, and Saint Luke Primary School, Wilberforce, she was called to eternal rest on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the age of 79.
She is survived by her children: Abigail, Michel, Elizabeth, Blessing, Francis, and Patrick, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and close friends include the Renner family (home and abroad), Harding family, Farsa family of Bongo, Bumpeh Chiefdom, and the Bundor family of the USA. Other cherished friends are Steven Medo & family, Bernard Javombo, Janet Sam, Mrs. Rosamond Koroma, Josephine Lamin, Rev. Reginald Williams & family (USA), Jesus Covenant Ministries, and all residents of Lahai Taylor Drive.
Her remains will be laid to rest on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Jesus Covenant Ministries, 74 Regent Road, Lumley, with interment at Lumley Upper Cemetery.
