Kenema District Finance Minister Inspires Pupils at Free Quality Summer School

On Thursday, 21st August 2025, Mohamed Lansana Ngawujah, Minister of Finance for the Kenema District Students Union (KenDSU), made an inspiring visit to the KenDSU Free Quality Summer School at the Islamic Secondary School in Kenema. His visit aimed to engage with and motivate both the volunteer teachers and students, fostering hope for a brighter future.

During his address to the pupils, Minister Ngawujah highlighted the significance of the Free Quality Summer School initiative, describing it as a valuable complement to the government’s Free Quality Education program. He encouraged the students to fully utilize this opportunity by attending classes regularly, listening attentively, and participating actively.

Recalling his own journey from student to professional, Ngawujah emphasized that with dedication and hard work, the pupils could achieve great success. He also praised the volunteer teachers for their unwavering commitment and significant contributions to the Summer School’s success.

In a show of support, Minister Ngawujah donated NLe 500 to the KenDSU Free Quality Summer School, reinforcing the Union’s efforts to promote education and inspire the next generation of leaders.
