Freetown, September 11, 2025 – The Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (SLMA) successfully rescued eleven crew members this morning following an incident involving their vessel, LMV White Prophet, which encountered difficulties between Lungi Modia and Conakrydee.
The vessel had departed from Rogbangba Wharf, heading toward Guinea, when it issued a distress call. SLMA’s Search and Rescue team promptly responded, ensuring that all eleven crew members were brought safely to shore without any loss of life.
