Brussels, Belgium – October 7, 2025 – The African Union (AU) Peace and Security Council (AU-PSC) and the European Union (EU) Political and Security Committee (EUPSC) have convened for their 16th annual joint consultative meeting, taking place from October 7 to 9.
During the discussions, Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Ethiopia and the AU, H.E. Harold Bundu, reiterated his nation’s strong commitment to fostering stability and security in the Sahel region. He emphasized the collective responsibility of West African nations to collaboratively tackle shared challenges related to peace, security, and climate change.
