With heavy hearts and in humble submission to the will of Almighty God, we announce the untimely passing of our beloved sister, friend, and colleague, Ms. Sallay Sankoh.
Ms. Sankoh, a former resident of Gloucester Village, Pipeline, was born on October 15, 1996, and tragically departed this life on January 1, 2026, at the age of 29, following a road accident while traveling from Freetown to Kono District.
She was a graduate, a dedicated entrepreneur, and a passionate advocate. At the time of her passing, she served as the Financial Secretary of the Western Area Rural District Students’ Union (WARDSU).
In accordance with tradition, her funeral rites have been held. She was laid to rest on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
We pray that her gentle soul finds eternal rest in perfect peace, Amen.
