A probe has been launched into the alleged murder of Salim Alie Dayeck, a Lebanese businessman, whose lifeless body was discovered at his residence on Hangha Road, Kenema, in the early hours of Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
While unconfirmed reports suggest that the victim may have been killed by one of his employees, Sub-Inspector Brima James Musa has urged the public to refrain from speculation. “We are still investigating the matter,” he stated, emphasizing the need for patience until all facts are established.
Sub-Inspector Musa confirmed that a suspect is currently in custody and is cooperating with the investigation. This incident marks the second alleged murder reported in Kenema within the past month, prompting growing concerns over security in the area.
Authorities have assured residents that investigations are ongoing, and further updates will be provided as the case progresses.
