Sheikh Alhaji Mohamed “Omodu” Kamara, the APC flagbearer aspirant known as Jagaban, has reaffirmed his dedication to education through a significant investment in Baptist School. The initiative includes a NLe 500,000 donation, ten computers, and lunch for the students.
This generous contribution, aimed at enhancing the educational environment for pupils from Nursery 1 to Junior Secondary School (JSS) 3, is part of Jagaban’s broader commitment to community development in the education sector.
The students warmly welcomed Jagaban with a heartfelt song, expressing their gratitude during his visit. Principal Mrs. Naure Fewiy commended him for keeping a promise made during a previous visit, where he addressed the school’s challenges. She described his return as a meaningful and delightful surprise for both staff and students.
APC Constituency Secretary Strasser confirmed that the funds will be managed transparently, with plans to improve school infrastructure significantly. Upcoming projects include providing desks and chairs, installing whiteboards, building modern toilet facilities, and renovating the principal’s offices.
Strasser applauded Jagaban’s compassion and commitment to uplifting the community, sentiments supported by enthusiastic cheers from attendees.
In his remarks, Jagaban expressed gratitude to the school administration and students for their warm welcome, stating, “Uplifting lives is in my DNA, and this school will always be in my heart.” He emphasized the importance of community and the shared meal as part of this initiative.
Head Teacher for Classes 4–6, Mrs. Isha Kargbo, praised Jagaban as an exemplary leader, noting his support for the Christian institution. She affirmed that the school administration, students, and parents fully support him, welcoming him as a valued member of their community.
The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation, leaving school authorities, students, and parents optimistic about future collaborations.
