The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) has announced the receipt of a fine payment totaling Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Leones (NLe 350,000) from the All People’s Congress (APC) leadership. The payment was processed on February 11, 2026.
The fine was imposed on the party for violations of Section 39(1) (b) and (d) of the Political Parties Act No. 25 of 2022, specifically implicating party members, including National Secretary General Lansana Dumbuya Esq. and Zainab Sheriff.
The PPRC expressed gratitude to the APC for adhering to the payment directive, encouraging the party to implement necessary measures to ensure that its members, supporters, and operatives act within legal boundaries moving forward.
