The Government of Sierra Leone is set to lead a high-profile delegation to London for a series of trade and investment events scheduled for the week of October 13, 2025.

Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh will head the delegation, which will also include senior government officials, private sector leaders, and representatives from the country’s emerging creative industry.

The mission was finalized during a recent meeting between Chief Minister Sengeh and British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, H.E. Josephine Gauld, where discussions centered on coordinating the agenda for the multi-event visit aimed at positioning Sierra Leone as a prime investment destination.

Key engagements include participation in the Sierra Leone Investment Forum on October 13, organized by Invest Africa, which will spotlight specific growth sectors and opportunities within the country. On the same day, a focused session at the British International Investment (BII) headquarters will strategize the deployment of an additional $100 million committed by BII for investments in Sierra Leone.

The delegation will also attend the AFSIC conference, a significant Africa-focused investment event, on October 14 and 15.

To conclude the series of engagements, the Sierra Leone High Commission in the UK, in collaboration with Vult Inc., Labrum London, and Invest Salone, will host a networking event for the Sierra Leonean diaspora, investors, and entrepreneurs in London. This mission is designed to engage a diverse range of stakeholders, including the UK private sector, the diaspora community, international investors, and leaders in the creative industry.
