Joseph Morlai Conteh, a Sierra Leonean national, is in dire need of a life-saving medical operation in Ghana following a diagnosis of severely damaged kidneys. Medical evaluations from several hospitals have confirmed that one of his kidneys has ceased functioning entirely. While a kidney transplant has been deemed unnecessary, doctors have recommended an urgent surgical procedure, estimated to cost $4,000.
Currently suffering from excruciating pain, Joseph has been unable to sleep due to the severity of his condition, which continues to deteriorate. Medical professionals have stressed the urgency of the operation to prevent further complications.
In light of this critical situation, a public appeal is being made for financial assistance from compassionate individuals, organizations, and members of the Sierra Leonean community, both domestically and abroad. Those who wish to contribute can reach out directly to Joseph Morlai Conteh at +232 77 795979 or contact the designated support person, Jane Bangura, at +232 76 738526 for details on how to donate.
Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a significant difference in giving Joseph a second chance at life.
