By Saidu Jalloh, Daily Scope Reporter

The second phase of the European Union (EU) Bus Tour 2025 kicked off on December 1, 2025, with planned stops in Kenema, Bo, Bonthe, Port Loko, and the Gola Forest, concluding on December 5.

This segment of the nationwide tour is dedicated to raising awareness about Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) while engaging grassroots communities and enhancing public comprehension of ongoing EU-supported initiatives in Sierra Leone.

Organizers stated that the outreach sessions aim to bolster community participation, equip citizens with crucial information on preventing and responding to SGBV, and showcase the EU’s ongoing collaboration with the government and civil society in promoting human rights and sustainable development.

Now in its 2025 edition, the EU Bus Tour continues to be a vital platform for dialogue, education, and the visibility of programs that positively impact the lives of Sierra Leoneans nationwide.
