The father of Patrick Kamara, a child found dead at Pentecostal Primary School, is calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his son’s death. He believes such an inquiry is essential for bringing peace to himself and other affected parents.
In a statement filled with grief and frustration, the father expressed his concerns about potential negligence in the handling of the case. “This thing that happened, we want justice for our children,” he declared.
He urged key figures—including the Ministry of Gender and Children’s Affairs, the First Lady, the Mayor of Freetown, and President Bio—to intervene. He emphasized the importance of child protection, stating, “If President Bio was not protected when he was a child, he would not have become president.”
Recalling the tragic day, he said, “I left my son to go to school, and I went to work, but he did not make it back home.”
