Professional footballer Mohamed Kamara was remanded in custody following his appearance before Magistrate Santigie Bangura at Pademba Road Court No. 2 last Wednesday.
Kamara faces five charges related to the unlawful possession and handling of the prohibited substance known as Kush. The specific charges include collecting, transporting, exposing, dealing in, and possessing the drug without legal authorization.
According to police reports, Kamara was arrested on March 19, 2025, at the Lumley Police checkpoint, where he was allegedly caught transporting and dealing in Kush. Due to the serious nature of the allegations, no plea was entered during the hearing.
