Former President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, visited President Julius Maada Bio at the State House in Freetown on Wednesday, July 2nd.
The two leaders engaged in a productive meeting during which Madam Sirleaf congratulated President Bio on his election as Chairperson of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
In their discussions, Madam Sirleaf emphasized the importance of collaborative leadership in advancing regional goals across Africa. While the specific purpose of her visit was not disclosed, Sierra Leoneans remain optimistic that the meeting will foster positive developments for both nations.
