Kissy Mental Home Division Police Arrest Robbery Suspects

The Kissy Division police, led by Unit Commander CSP Bob Musa Mansaray, have successfully apprehended two suspects in connection with a series of robberies in the Kissy Mental Home community.

The suspects, identified as Mohamed Alhaji Kamara, known as “Youngest,” and Yusuf Turay, also referred to as “Tommy Lee,” were captured during an intensive operation in the challenging hilly terrain of the area. Both individuals reside at 14 Upper Thompson Street, a location that has now come under increased scrutiny by law enforcement.

Residents, who have long been anxious due to the rising crime rate, expressed their relief and gratitude towards the Kissy Division police for their diligent efforts in enhancing community safety. The successful operation has been welcomed as a significant step in addressing the concerns of the community.

The suspects are currently in custody, along with several stolen items, including mobile phones. Investigations are ongoing, led by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at the Kissy Division, as authorities work to uncover further details related to the robberies and any potential accomplices.
