The Ministry of Youth Affairs has issued a critical warning regarding fraudulent online recruitment schemes that disproportionately affect young individuals. In a recent press release, the Ministry cautioned the public against engaging with any casual worker recruitment efforts circulating both online and within local communities.
The Ministry highlighted a surge in deceptive claims on social media and other platforms, falsely suggesting ongoing hiring for various projects. “These assertions are unequivocally false,” the Ministry stated, urging the public to stay vigilant and avoid falling prey to these scams.
Officials emphasized that all legitimate job opportunities offered by the Ministry will be disseminated solely through their verified social media accounts, official website, and other government channels. “The Ministry does not authorize any private individuals or entities to solicit money, personal information, or conduct employment drives on our behalf,” they clarified.
Additionally, the public is encouraged to report any suspicious activities or individuals claiming to offer employment through the Ministry of Youth Affairs.
In closing, the Ministry reaffirmed its dedication to fostering genuine, transparent, and sustainable youth employment in alignment with the government’s national empowerment objectives.
