MMTU Appreciates Minister for Health Outreach

On March 7, 2025, a delegation led by Professor Philip John Kanu, Vice Chancellor of the Milton Margai Technical University (MMTU), visited Dr. Austin Demby, the Minister of Health and Sanitation, to express gratitude for the recent free medical outreach held at the university’s Goderich Campus in February. The initiative benefited students, staff, and the local community.

Professor Kanu presented a thank-you card designed by the university, highlighting the outreach’s significant health impact. He praised the collaboration with the Ministry and requested the Minister convey appreciation to his team.

Dr. Demby acknowledged the outreach as a result of strong partnerships and emphasized the importance of supporting students. He also shared updates on the Ministry’s rebranding efforts, including facility improvements.

The visit underscored the collaborative spirit between MMTU and the Ministry, reinforcing their commitment to community health.
