NaCSA Commissioner, Deputy Speaker Discuss National Development Initiatives

Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina, Commissioner of the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA), met with Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Honourable Ibrahim Tawa Conteh on yesterday Wednesday 18th September 2024to discuss Sierra Leone’s development agenda, capacity building, and NaCSA’s rebranding.

Ambassador Ndomahina outlined NaCSA’s alignment with President Julius Maada Bio’s “Big Five Game Changers” initiative. He highlighted key projects, including the Sierra Leone Community Demand-Driven Project, PSSNYE project, and Community Demand-Driven Project, aimed at reducing poverty and promoting sustainable community development.

Honourable Conteh praised NaCSA’s operational efficiency and contributions to national development. “NaCSA’s transition under Ambassador Ndomahina’s leadership has been remarkable,” he said. Susan Robert, NaCSA’s Senior Director, commended the Deputy Speaker’s leadership and expressed confidence in Ambassador Ndomahina’s ability to drive national development.

NaCSA remains committed to driving impactful and sustainable development across Sierra Leone through initiatives like the Rapid Community Development Initiative and Promotion of Pro-Poor Growth for Peace Consolidation and Youth Empowerment program, boosting youth employment and income.
