The Njala University Campus in Mokonde is shaken by the tragic death of a staff member, who was reportedly murdered near the India Temple at the Royal Night Club in Mosongo, Njala Mokonde.
Reports indicate that the deceased, a member of the Njala community, sustained severe head injuries resulting in excessive bleeding from the nose, mouth, and ears. Following the incident, her remains were transported to Bo Government Hospital, where an autopsy is being conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
In the aftermath of the incident, authorities have taken into custody a colleague who resides next to the victim’s room for further questioning as part of the ongoing investigation. The Students’ Union Government of Njala University has expressed a strong commitment to cooperating with law enforcement agencies to ensure that justice is served for their deceased colleague.
Students are urged to exhibit patience and support for the investigations, with assurances that additional details will be provided as they become available from medical examiners and security personnel.
