The Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone in Geneva is profoundly saddened to announce the passing of Ms. Wadia Nathalie Nina Berge, which occurred on Thursday, 14th August 2025, at 4 Rue de Mont Blanc, 74100, Annemasse, Central East of France.
Ms. Berge served as an intern at the Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone in Geneva, where she was attached to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the World Health Organization (WHO). She had been with the Mission since April 2025.
A bright and promising young woman, Ms. Berge possessed a passion for diplomacy, international relations, and humanitarian work.
Funeral arrangements for Ms. Wadia Nathalie Nina Berge will be announced in due course.
During this time of grief, Ambassador Dr. Lansana Gberie, along with the staff of the Mission, visited her family to extend their heartfelt condolences.
The Mission expresses its deepest sympathies to her family, relatives, friends, and the wider diplomatic community.
