Tengbeh Town is grappling with a disturbing case involving a 30-year-old man accused of impregnating a 12-year-old virgin girl who had been missing for three weeks. The allegations have raised serious concerns about the safety and protection of minors in the community.
Victor Grant, a student at Fourah Bay College, reported that the girl’s family was in distress during her disappearance, making numerous attempts to locate her. On June 30, 2025, the girl’s mother successfully found her daughter and sought answers regarding her prolonged absence. However, the girl remained unresponsive to her mother’s inquiries.
Fearing for her daughter’s well-being, the mother conducted a pregnancy test, which confirmed her suspicions: the girl was pregnant. Following this revelation, the family urged the girl to lead them to the location where she had been staying. Upon arriving at the man’s residence, the family maintained a distance and instructed the girl to knock on the door.
When the man answered, he reportedly asked if the girl had returned, unaware that her family was nearby. The family quickly confronted him, questioning his relationship with the girl. The man acknowledged knowing the girl and admitted to having sexual relations with her but denied responsibility for the pregnancy, claiming he was not the only person involved. In contrast, the young girl insisted that he was the only one.
This incident has sparked outrage and concern within the community regarding the welfare of their young girls. Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure that justice is served.
