Poem: In Honor of Birth’s Guardians

To the gentle souls who stand by our side,
In the sacred journey of life, where hope and love collide.
With wisdom and strength, you welcome the dawn,
Guiding new life, as our hearts are reborn.

In the rhythm of labor, your touch is a balm,
A soothing presence, a harbor of calm.
With every contraction, and each breath that’s drawn,
You are there, steadfast, from dusk until dawn.

Midwives and doctors in Cottage Hospitals,
Nurturers of grace, answering life’s calls.
You illuminate pathways to a beautiful place,
Through fears and the doubts, you hold our hands tight,
Transforming the struggle into pure, radiant light.

With hearts full of passion and hands skilled and warm,
You lead us through storms to a safe, healing calm.
Each cry of the newborn is a symphony sweet,
A testament to courage, a victory complete.

In your eyes, the magic of miracles glows,
A glimpse of the heavens in each tiny pose.
You cradle the moments, as life starts anew,
With love that is boundless—so deep, so true.

So here’s to the healers of mothers in need,
Your tireless devotion, a powerful creed.
For every child born, every life that you save,
We honor your wisdom, your love, and your grace.

May the world sing your praises, your voices resound,
For you are the warriors where hope can be found.
In the journey of birth, so profound, so divine,
We thank you, dear guardians, for making love shine.
