Obituary for Mr Abraham Tommy Tucker
Mr Abraham Tommy Tucker, fondly known to many as “Tommy Showman,” passed away peacefully on 9 January 2026, at the age of 72.
Born on 29 October 1953 in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Abraham was the beloved son of Mr Joseph Kelvin Tucker and Hannah Metzger. He lived a life marked by charm, craftsmanship, and a deep sense of personal pride. A man who loved to dress smartly, Abraham carried himself with a style and confidence that made him instantly recognisable and widely admired.
He was a gifted fashion designer. He worked as a Store Associate at Walmart Inc., where he was appreciated for his reliability, humour, and warm presence. He retired on medical grounds in 2023, bringing to a close a chapter of steady service and commitment.
He was a devoted father to his five children: John, Hannah, Augusta, Mafat, and Kelvin. He was also a cherished grandfather to John, Cynthia, Abraham, Koumandian, Mallon, Odia, Prince, Mary, and Sarah.
He is survived by his cousins — Bola, Constance
