In the heart of Africa, where rivers flow wide,
Sierra Leone stands, with strength and pride.
Yet shadows linger, in the light of the day,
For voices of women often drift away.
With hopes like the sun, bright and bold,
They dream of a future, where stories untold
Will rise from the echoes of silenced cries,
To shatter the ceilings and claim the skies.
From Freetown’s bustle to the quiet fields,
Women are warriors, with love as their shields.
In every community, their battles unfold,
For equal rights, for futures to hold.
Oh, the girls who aspire to learn and to grow,
Deserve every chance to let their dreams flow.
Education, empowerment—keys to unlock
A world where respect is the language we talk.
Let men stand beside them, hand in hand,
For equality’s journey is a unified stand.
When we lift each other, when we break every chain,
A nation stands stronger, with nothing to gain.
Together we rise, through storms and through strife,
With courage and love, we’ll breathe in new life.
For in Sierra Leone, let the vision be clear—
A future of equality, where all can persevere.
So let us unite, with purpose and heart,
To foster a world where no one’s apart.
In harmony we flourish, in justice we stand,
For gender equality, hand in hand.
