SLPHA Confirms Smooth Operations at Queen Elizabeth II Quay Amid Strike Rumors

Freetown, Sierra Leone – The Sierra Leone Ports and Harbours Authority (SLPHA) has officially confirmed that there will be no strike action at the Queen Elizabeth II Quay, aiming to quell recent rumors circulating on social media and other platforms.

In a statement released to the public, SLPHA reassured stakeholders that operations at the port remain fully functional. Despite speculation about a potential strike, the Authority emphasized that both import and export activities are proceeding smoothly, with vessels arriving on schedule and cargo handling processes running without disruption.

All routine tasks, including the discharge and delivery of goods, are continuing as planned. SLPHA’s management reiterated its commitment to providing efficient port services that adhere to international standards. They urged the public to rely on verified information from official sources, cautioning against the spread of unverified rumors that could lead to unnecessary confusion or panic.
