It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ibrahim Jamil Sesay Esq., beloved son of Jamilatu Conteh and the late Colonel A.K. Sesay.
Jamil was a man of many gifts and talents. He pursued a career as a practicing lawyer, while also thriving as an actor, producer, singer, and Master of Ceremonies. Beyond his professional and artistic achievements, he was a devout Muslim whose faith guided his life.
He began his early education at St. Luke’s Nursery and Primary School before moving on to Prince of Wales School, where he was an active member of the L&DS and the Drama Club. His creativity, passion, and leadership stood out from an early age.
Jamil will be remembered not only for his talents, but also for his kindness, respectfulness, and his deep commitment to leaving an impact on the lives he touched.

He leaves behind no children and no spouse, but will be lovingly remembered by his companion Fatmata Binta Jalloh (Jaja) and all those whose lives he touched.
