The Cullen family announce with deep sorrow the home calling of their beloved father, grandfather, and brother, Mr. Alfred John Martin Cullen, who passed away on Thursday, 18th September 2025 at the Sierra Leone Police Hospital, Kingtom, Freetown. He was aged 79 years.
He is lovingly remembered and survived by:
- Children: Mary Ann Wedemeyer (Germany), Lena Cullen, and Mrs. Hannah Cullen Mansaray (Freetown)
- Son-in-law: Mr. Philip I. Mansaray
- Grandchildren: Philip, Dora, Saffie, Mohamed, Musa, and Taiwo
- Siblings: Lena Okon (Nigeria), Gracie Cullen (Freetown), and Patrick Chico Cullen (Freetown)
- Extended Family: Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and relatives at home and abroad, including the Cullen family of Rokel, the Blackstock-Johns (USA & Freetown), Sutton-Koroma, Magba-Kamara, Peters (London & Freetown), Lamin Koroma, the Koromas of London, the Jones family (Kingtom & Hill Station), the Akar family, Nicholas family, Claudia Williams, Dada Wedemeyer (Germany), the Okons (Nigeria), the Kanja, Manu, and Smart families, the Tuckers, Mary Williams and family (London), and many others.

Funeral Arrangements
- Vigil Service: Thursday, 2nd October 2025 at No. 8 Handel Street, Kingtom, at 8:00 p.m.
- Laying Out: Friday, 3rd October 2025 at his residence, No. 8 Handel Street, at 10:30 a.m.
- Requiem Mass: Friday, 3rd October 2025 at St. Edward’s Parish Church, Kingtom, at 2:00 p.m.
- Interment: Ascension Town Cemetery.
