Justice Momoh Jah-Stevens yesterday, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, adjourned the high-profile murder trial of Abdul Kpaka, accused of killing his girlfriend, Sia Kamara, until Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Kpaka faces two serious charges: Count 1 – Murder, and Count 2 – Perverting the Course of Justice, for allegedly fabricating evidence related to the case. Despite the gravity of the allegations, Kpaka pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Presiding over the case, Justice Momoh Jah-Stevens assured both parties that the trial would be conducted impartially, adhering strictly to the law. He denied Kpaka bail, citing concerns for both his safety and the state’s.

“I shall not grant you bail throughout the trial,” Justice Jah-Stevens ruled. He urged legal representatives on both sides to fully prepare for the upcoming proceedings, stressing the need for thorough comprehension of the case to ensure a fair trial.

The trial will resume on September 26, 2024, with both the prosecution and defense set to present further arguments.
