Sierra Leone’s Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) was commended at the 8th Annual General Assembly of the Association of African Anti-Corruption Authorities (AAACA) after reporting a 99.61% compliance rate in its asset declaration regime.
ACC Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala Esq. told delegates that the country’s digital asset declaration system has boosted transparency, eased filing for public officials, and cut errors linked to manual processes.
Officials at the assembly described Sierra Leone’s presentation as one of the strongest, highlighting its data-driven approach and use of technology as a model for other African states.
