Italian businessman Alfina Siracusa has accused Admire Bio, Dauzy Jalloh, and a Lagooda manager of involvement in an alleged gold investment fraud that left him with $260,000 in losses.
Speaking to SLIK TV, Siracusa said the scheme took place in August last year. He claimed he invested $260,000 and paid an additional $50,000 in licensing fees.
“They returned the $50,000 for the licence, but I have not recovered any of my investment,” he said.
The businessman also criticized the pace of the Criminal Investigation Department’s inquiry.
“The country is not helping. I am the only one going to the CID,” he stated, adding that investigators rarely provide updates unless he initiates contact.
Siracusa is calling on authorities to fast-track the investigation and ensure those responsible are held accountable if any wrongdoing is established.
The allegations have not been independently verified. At the time of publication, Admire Bio, Dauzy Jalloh, and the Lagooda manager had not publicly responded to the claims.
