Coldstream Guards Train RSLAF in Successful Peace Support Operational Course

The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) has successfully concluded a three-week peace support operational training course, conducted by a short-term training team from the Coldstream Guards, the British Army’s oldest continuously serving regiment.

The training program involved 63 men and 9 women from the RSLAF, equipping them with essential skills necessary for effective peacekeeping operations. The comprehensive curriculum blended theoretical navigation with practical exercises, allowing participants to engage in critical battlefield casualty drills and gain valuable insights into planning and resourcing training missions.

This training marks a significant advancement in enhancing the capabilities of the RSLAF in peace support operations, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to regional stability and security.
