In Yenga’s heart, where the borders lie,
Whispers of conflict weave through the sky.
Yet in the shadows, hope begins to rise,
A call for peace, where understanding ties.
Sierra Leonean soldiers, brave and bold,
Stand for their people, their stories untold.
Through maps and disputes, they seek a way,
To turn the tide and bring brighter days.
“Why now this aggression?” the people implore,
But in the face of fear, their spirits soar.
Voices united, they dream of the light,
For together they stand, ready to fight.
Paramount Chief wonders, “What sparks this dismay?”
Yet in every heart, a resolve finds its way.
Speaker Jusu proclaims, “We will rise from this night,
For peace is our power, and love is our light.”
With hands clasped in trust, they seek to embrace,
A future of harmony, a world full of grace.
In Yenga’s strong heart, may calm find its place,
For in the power of peace, we all find our space.
