By Elizabeth A. Kaine
In Sierra Leone’s land of pride
Where laws are made, to be our guide
But some take matters, into their own hands
And justice falters, in shifting sands
We must not take, the law into our own might
For vengeance and rage, only lead to endless night
We must respect, the laws that govern our land
And let justice reign, with an impartial hand
Let us not forget, the price we’ve paid
For lawlessness and chaos, that once swayed
Our nation’s path, was marked with strife
But now we’ve risen, to a new life
Let us uphold, the laws that set us free
And trust in justice, to equality
For when we respect, the law’s mighty hand
We build a nation, where peace will stand
In Sierra Leone’s land of pride
Let justice reign, and let love reside
Let us work together, to build a brighter day
Where laws are respected, and justice leads the way.
