The Dutch Public Prosecution Service has raised the reward for information leading to the arrest of Jos Leijdekkers, alias Bolle Jos, from €200,000 to €2 million.

The announcement was made on Monday, November 2, 2026, as Dutch authorities intensify efforts to locate one of Europe’s most wanted fugitives.

The tenfold increase is aimed at encouraging credible information that could lead to his arrest.

Leijdekkers is wanted by Dutch authorities for his alleged involvement in international cocaine trafficking.

He is believed to be in Sierra Leone, although authorities in Freetown have denied claims that he is hiding in the country.

The Dutch prosecution has urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact them on the dedicated line: +31 6 38 88 44 93.

The development comes as international pressure mounts for his capture.
