Obituary Announcement for Mrs. Sia Massah Kamara
With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Mrs. Sia Massah Kamara, who departed this life on April 17th, 2026 in Bo District at the age of 39.
Sia was born in Gandorhun Town, Gbane Chiefdom, Kono District, to Mr. Kai Moiwo and Mrs. Finda Moiwo (née Amara). She began her education at UMC Girls Primary School in Koidu and later attended St. Helena Secondary School in Freetown. With a passion for excellence, she pursued Accounting and Finance at IAMTECH (now UNITECH) College and built a successful career, serving diligently at FOCUS 1000 as the Finance Officer until her passing.
Sia was a devoted wife to Mr. Abdul Kamara and a loving mother to her two cherished daughters, Precious and Blessing. She was the heart of her family, a beacon of love, kindness, and dedication.
She is survived by many brothers, sisters, aunts, and uncles from the Moiwo-Kongo family in Gandorhun Town and Freetown. Other relatives include Chief Samuel Ndomaina and family, the Amaras, the Kembays, the Foday Ngamohs, the Turays, Paul Lebbie and family, the Fisher Family and many other beloved family members and friends in Kono, Freetown, and abroad. She is also survived by FOCUS 1000 family, the CHAMPS family in Makeni, Bo and Freetown.
Funeral Arrangements.
- Wake Keeping: will take place on May 8th at *Kallon Drive/20 Martin Farmer Street, Kossoh Town
- Funeral Service: on May 9th at Agape Bible Church, New London, Kossoh Town, at 1pm prompt
- Interment: Kossoh Town Cemetery
