Minister Bah Visits Creative Hub Africa to Support Entrepreneurs

Sierra Leone’s Minister of Communication Technology and Innovation, Salima Monorma Bah, visited Creative Hub Africa (CHA) on Monday to gain firsthand insight into the initiatives of local entrepreneurs and innovators.

Sierra Leone’s Minister of Communication Technology and Innovation, Salima Monorma Bah, visited Creative Hub Africa (CHA) on Monday to gain firsthand insight into the initiatives of local entrepreneurs and innovators.

The visit took place at CHA’s location on Freetown Road, opposite the Lumley Police Station, and underscored the hub’s vital role in fostering creativity and supporting local businesses. Minister Bah was warmly received by CHA’s CEO, Miss Isatu Harrison, along with a group of entrepreneurs who showcased their diverse ventures.

During the visit, the Minister learned about CHA’s efforts to provide essential resources, mentorship, and funding, particularly aimed at empowering women, thereby contributing to the growth of Sierra Leone’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Minister Bah expressed her admiration for CHA’s initiatives, highlighting its significance in developing future leaders and driving national progress.

“Creative Hub Africa is playing an important role in driving innovation and digital change. It’s great to see how they’re empowering women and making a difference in the community,” she stated.

The visit reflects the government’s commitment to supporting local entrepreneurship and innovation in Sierra Leone.
