The Honourable Minister of Information and Civic Education, Mr. Chernor Bah, has been awarded a Certificate of Honor by Afriqu Europe Magazine, recognizing his outstanding leadership and professionalism in enhancing public communication and civic education in Sierra Leone.
The accolade was presented by Lokombe Nkalulu, Editor-in-Chief of Afriqu Europe Magazine, alongside investigative journalist Abdoul Rahaman Bah. It celebrates Minister Bah’s significant contributions to promoting transparency, ensuring open access to information, and fostering effective communication between the government and its citizens.
Representatives from the Africa Diaspora Journalists Network, which oversaw the selection process, praised Minister Bah as the Best Minister of Information in West Africa. This recognition highlights his commitment to increasing civic awareness and strengthening public trust in government information systems.
The award not only celebrates Bah’s personal achievements but also reflects the Ministry’s broader vision of cultivating an informed, engaged, and empowered citizenry through inclusive and transparent communication practices.
