Pastor Patrick Chris Koroma of Life Information Ministries and proprietor of The Genius Elementary and High School has issued a formal apology and retraction regarding serious allegations he previously made against Mr. Brima Bah, Deputy Registrar of Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
The allegations, made on June 9, 2025, accused Mr. Bah of accepting a bribe of Forty Thousand Leones (NLe 40,000) to facilitate an alleged illegal construction on the college premises. This claim raised significant concerns in academic and legal circles, posing a threat to Mr. Bah’s hard-earned reputation.
However, in a written letter dated June 26, 2025, Pastor Koroma publicly withdrew his accusations, stating that no such financial transaction had occurred and that his allegations were unfounded. He expressed deep regret for the distress caused by his actions, writing, “I fully retract my false claims against you… and sincerely apologize and deeply sorry.”
The letter of apology, addressed directly to Mr. Bah, was also copied to several key legal and law enforcement bodies, including the Director of Crime Services, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the Cyber Crime Unit Supervisor, Horace George & Associates, and Ngakui & Partners. This public circulation underscores the seriousness of the initial accusation and Koroma’s commitment to formally correcting the record.
