By Joseph Momoh

FREETOWN — The Salone Association of Bloggers (SAB) is seeking a formal partnership with the Chinese Embassy in Sierra Leone to expand media collaboration.

The proposal was made by SAB President, Joseph Abass Sannoh, during a courtesy visit to the Chinese Embassy in Freetown.

Sannoh, who led the delegation, thanked the Chinese Embassy for its consistent support to the association, describing it as one of the most supportive diplomatic missions to SAB.

He said the association wants to deepen the existing relationship and formalize cooperation through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

According to Sannoh, a structured partnership would create more opportunities for capacity building, information sharing and professional collaboration between the two institutions.

Receiving the delegation on behalf of the Embassy, the Head of Communication and Outreach expressed appreciation for SAB’s continued partnership.

He assured the delegation of the Embassy’s commitment to sustain and strengthen the cordial relationship.

The visit is part of ongoing efforts by both institutions to consolidate ties and explore new areas of cooperation in the media and communication sector.
