The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Sierra Leone held a high-level meeting with the Minister of Information and Civic Education, Honourable Chernor Bah, on Tuesday to discuss partnership strengthening and developmental priorities for the upcoming year.
Minister Bah expressed his gratitude to UNDP for its ongoing support, highlighting the organization’s vital role in advancing the country’s national development objectives. His appreciation resonated with UNDP officials present at the meeting.
The discussions centered on strategic planning for 2026, with both parties advocating for a focused approach that emphasizes fewer but more impactful programs. The new strategy aims to transition from fragmented initiatives to targeted, transformative projects that promise long-term benefits for communities throughout Sierra Leone.
Additionally, UNDP confirmed its participation in the upcoming three-day National Civic Festival, where it plans to explore innovative collaborations aimed at enhancing a more efficient and people-centered public service.
