FREETOWN — A 38-year-old man has been accused of allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Freetown.
The suspect, identified as Masseio Santus Kanu, is alleged to have committed the act inside a broken kekeh at 24 Passionate Street, near Thomason Street.
According to information gathered, the suspect allegedly offered the girl a soft drink laced with drugs before the reported assault. The victim is reportedly pregnant following the incident.
Police have launched an investigation to establish the facts surrounding the allegation.
The identity of the minor is being withheld to protect her privacy. The suspect remains an accused person and the allegations are yet to be proven in court.
