Captain Abraham Richard Nicholas Maculey was a devoted husband, father, and leader who dedicated 29 years of service to the United Nations International Maritime Organization. A distinguished merchant marine captain, he retired as a director within the UN
He shared 62 wonderful years with his beloved Wife, Esther and leaves behind five children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren.
He was a career diplomat, the president of the Sierra Leone Golf club and chair of numerous boards. He treated everyone with love and greeted you with his infectious laugh and joy. His legacy of integrity, dedication and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He has already been buried in England.
