The All People’s Congress has set Wednesday, 29 July 2026 for rerun ward elections in areas where previous polls were cancelled or remain under review by electoral oversight bodies.
In a public notice dated 22 July 2026 and signed by National Secretary General Lansana Dumbuya, Esq., the party said the fresh polls will cover all outstanding wards still pending before the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) and the Independent Elections Complaints Body (IECB).
The National Secretariat directed all eligible delegates, aspirants, party officials, and election staff to take part in line with the APC Constitution, Electoral Rules and Regulations, and other directives issued from party headquarters.
The party also urged members to maintain peace and demonstrate unity, discipline, and democratic values during the exercise.
