The British High Commission in Sierra Leone has opened applications for the 2026 Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships, offering fully funded opportunities for Sierra Leoneans to study in the United Kingdom.
The prestigious programme targets talented individuals with strong academic records and leadership potential who are committed to driving development in their communities and country.
Successful scholars will pursue advanced Master’s degrees at UK universities, gaining both academic qualifications and professional skills. They will also join a global network of Commonwealth scholars and future leaders focused on positive change across education, health, governance and other key sectors.
“The scholarship is designed to support individuals with the potential to make a meaningful contribution to their communities and countries,” the High Commission stated.
The British High Commission is calling on eligible Sierra Leonean professionals, graduates, and public service workers to apply and take advantage of the opportunity.
Applications close on Monday, 20 October 2026.
